when i was in Brunei Darussalam

Brunei Darussalam. This country is rich for it's Oil and living in Miri which has the nickname "Oil Town "( now maybe called Oil city) i wonder what our two city have in common the first thing i notice was the Signboard was nothing like what we have in Miri. they use Arabic words on thier Signboard.
Another thing about Brunei is that there is a lot of Mosque. Big beautiful Mosque and the sultan is making these Mosque very comfortable beside having free water and electric, these mosque are also equip with air conditioner for our hot tropical climate. I been to a mosque before but nothing like the one I visited in Brunei. Travelling in a convoy, from Labuan to Sarawak turn out to be a great adventure for me. It was my first time visit to Brunei and to any foreign country in a matter of fact. I got to visit the sultan’s palace well outside of the gate anyway I did not see the sultan or the royal family but I did took a picture with the guard. There are some strange things here like this big teapot at a roundabout before miri. It was like stop the car take out the camera I want a picture with this….next is Miri my home town.

my 2007 christmas journey from Labuan, Sabah to miri Sarawak

when i was in Limbang just before entering Brunei i stay in this hotel and just in front of the hotel was this river. there was this big, huge supermarket type buiding in Limbang i would loved to go in but too bad we were in a rush so did not stop and have a look. i only change RM50 to Bruinei Dollar just in case i need to buy some stuff in Brunei a decision i would regret later .
